Hello my name is.
BRITTANY WASSERMAN.
The Short Form: I am a post graduate student with a passion for fashion and everything sweet. With a background in marketing and sales, I am looking to expand my skill set into the retail and styling arena.
A little bit more about myself: I am a graduate of Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a degree in marketing, (go Hoosiers!). Currently, I am enrolled in the Fashion Management and Promotions Post Graduate program at Humber College in Toronto, learning the essentials for a career in the fashion industry. I have bounced around a lot in my few short years since graduating university, and I have gained invaluable skills and relationships along the way. After interning for Dylan's Candy Bar in New York City, I was extended a job offer and worked full time in their Wholesale Department. While at Dylan's, I was able to learn from Dylan herself about the importance of branding and marketing, information I will continue to use for the rest of my career. I was fortunate enough to work with several high profile accounts such as the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, W Hotel chain, and many other valued clients. After a year with the company I moved to Toronto to be with my boyfriend and continue my career in a new environment. Unable to formally work, I interned with a startup parenting magazine specializing in operations and social media. I then moved on to work with an incredible confections company managing their orders, events, and operations during their busy holiday season. Finally, I was able to get a taste for the retail end of the business when I interned with Madeline's Boutique, a well-known dress shop in Toronto. While I was at Madeline's I was able to form lasting relationships with client's, while styling them for important life events. Currently I am in school and interning part time for TNT (The New Trend) in their personal shopping department.
